Homicide Victim: Edward Lowery

Victim: Edward Lowery, 29, of New Haven

Date: Nov. 27, 2011

Time: 6:33 p.m.

Neighborhood: Hill

Location: In the street, at Liberty and Putnam streets

Weapon: Gun

Arrests: No arrests have been made yet in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at 203-946-6304.

Police are called to Trowbridge Square at 6:33 p.m., Nov. 27, 2011, and find Edward Lowery, 29, shot multiple times in the head and back. It's believed he was shot while riding the bicycle he was found with.

    Cushawn was a sweet young man who was very polite and easy going. he wasn't the type to carry weapons fight or start an arguement. Cushawn was my son and theres nothing i would not have done for him. my heart goes out to his two children and their mothers who also supported shonny boy in his steps in regaining his life. I would also like to mention the love i have for his brothers, grandmother, auntes, uncles, cousins and friend. and most of all his dad, Edward whose also always been a loving and caring man. RIP My Love, My son, My friend. I'll always love you Cushawn and your memories will always echo in my heart.
