Lee Anthony Mitchell, 28, of West Haven, is shot at 6 p.m. on Hurlburt Street after police say he confronted a man sitting in Mitchell’s estranged wife’s vehicle. When Mitchell threatened the man, police say Shaquan Armour, 20, of Howard Avenue, retrieved a shotgun from the vehicle and killed Mitchell with repeated blasts. Due to a murder witness that waved down a patrol cop to point out the shooter's vehicle, Armour was apprehended by police after a two-mile chase that ended on Sylvan Avenue.
