John Henry Cates
NEW HAVEN >> Tyrick Warren will not go through a second trial on a felony murder count in the shooting death of John Henry Cates, but he faces a nine-year prison sentence for attempted first-degree robbery in that case and for other charges in separate cases.
Warren has accepted a deal in which he pleaded guilty to the robbery charge and three other charges in exchange for a 15-year sentence, to be suspended after he serves nine years. He will also have three years of probation.
Charges were also filed against Rajoun Julious aka "Snuggles," but they were dismissed in 2012.
