Gamble is the city’s sixth homicide victim of 2014. He was a student at Riverside Academy, which is about a mile away from the shooting site.
There have been two homicides in the Hill North police district this year. The district encompasses the area within Ella T Grasso Boulevard, Legion Avenue, Columbus Avenue and Church Street South. There was only one shooting all of 2012 in the district.
